Sky View in the Rockies satisfies kids of every age with adventure around every corner. Built in 1961, with more than 2700 square feet, dramatic charm radiates on every delightful level. The cathedral ceilings and bold beams frame this home with a commanding character you won't find elsewhere.
The spectacular A-frame, with 38 foot high windows, will immediately draw your eyes to the left to savor the mountain peaks: Chapin, Chiquita, Ypsilon, Twin Owls, Lumpy Ridge and Mummy Range. Stroll into the living area complete with big screen TV and a cluster of distinctive leather sofas. Sink down in comfort, gazing out on the deck with porch swing, grill and table for outdoor meals. Back inside, you find behind the comfy conversation pit is a massive moss rock gas-burning fireplace. Continue to the dining table which seats six. To the right are four barstools for a quick breakfast or a midnight snack. The kitchen is large with long counters and stainless steel oven/stove, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher. Off to the right is the large laundry room with full size washer and dryer. The two car garage is located off the laundry room. A bonus is the tankless water heater, so showering guests never run out of hot water.
The simple but elegantly appointed master bedroom is down the hallway to the right of the entry on the first floor. The room has a wood/hinge themed king sized bed. You'll discover this theme throughout the home. The master also has a spacious walk in closet. The bathroom on first level is a tub/shower with rich countertops.
The staircase leads to the second level where you'll find a dark leather sofa, flanked by a matching love seat and chair. It's a fun place to play games or perfect for late night conversations. To the right and left are the second and third bedrooms, each with queen beds. The bathroom on second level is a tub/shower combo. The sweetest surprise is on the third level. Sneak upstairs where the quaint loft features a queen bed and stone gas fireplace. Whoever gets this room will have to flip a coin or win rock, paper, scissors to earn it!
